For the O-ring used in the process of movement, when the working pressure is greater than 9.8mpa, if the unidirectional pressure, the other side of the O-ring pressure direction is set with a baffle ring; For bidirectional pressure, a retainer is placed on either side of the O-ring. Wedge-shaped retainers can also be used to reduce friction. When pressure fluid is applied from the left side, the right baffle ring is pushed up and the left baffle ring is not in contact with the sealing surface, so friction is reduced. Generally speaking, the use of retainer will increase the friction of the sealing device, and wedge retainer is important to reduce this friction. For the fixed ring, when the working pressure is greater than 32Mpa, it is also necessary to use the baffle ring.

Working principle

The O-ring seal is a squeeze seal. The basic working principle of extrusion seal is to produce contact pressure on the sealing contact surface. If the contact pressure is greater than the internal pressure of the sealing medium, it will not leak, otherwise it will leak.
