I. Classification of rubber molds
Rubber molds are divided into four common molds according to the different mold structure and product production process: pressing molding mold, die casting molding mold, injection molding mold, extrusion molding mold, and some special rubber molds for the production of special rubber products, such as inflatable mold, dip mold, etc.
1. Die casting mold
Also known as transfer mold or extrusion mold. It is the mixed, simple shape, limited quantity of rubber or rubber block semi-finished products into the die casting mold cavity, through the pressure of the die casting plug extrusion of rubber, and the rubber through the pouring system into the mold cavity vulcanization stereotypes.
Features: MORE complex than ordinary pressing die, suitable for the production of ordinary pressing can not be pressed or barely pressed thin wall, thin and flexible products, as well as complex shape, difficult to feed rubber products. The products produced by this mold have good compactness and superior quality.
2, extrusion molding mold
Through the molding mold of the machine head made of various sections of the shape of the rubber profile semi-finished products, to achieve the purpose of preliminary modeling, and then after cooling and shaping transported to the vulcanization tank for vulcanization or used as a pressing method required by the pre-forming semi-finished rubber material.
Features: High production efficiency, stable quality, can realize automatic production.
3, pressing molding mold
Also known as ordinary pressing die. It is mixed, processed into a certain shape and weighed by the semi-finished rubber material directly into the mold, and then into the plate vulcanizing machine pressure, heating. The compound is vulcanized under pressure and heating.
Features: The mold has the advantages of simple structure, strong versatility, wide use and easy operation, so it occupies a large proportion in rubber molded products.
4. Injection molding mold
It is the pre-heated plastic state of the rubber by injection mold pouring system into the mold to finalize the vulcanization.
Features: Complex structure, suitable for large, thick wall, thin wall, complex shape products. High production efficiency, stable quality, can realize automatic production.
Two, forming equipment
Plate vulcanizing machine is used for mould pressing. (steam vulcanizing machine: generally the maximum pressure of saturated steam can reach 0.6~ 0.8mpa, vulcanizing temperature in the range of 158~168. Resistance wire heating plate, oil pressure plate vulcanizing machine)
Die casting mold using die casting machine.
The injection mold uses an injection machine. (Working pressure of injection machine is generally 100~140Mpa, curing temperature is 140~185, curing time is 1~5 minutes)
Extruder is used for the extrusion mould.
