In 2005, the production capacity of domestic fluorine rubber is about 3500T, and the domestic consumption is about 6500T. It is expected that in 2010, the consumption of fluorine rubber in the domestic automobile industry will reach about 7500T, and the total demand in other fields will reach about 11000T.
There are many processing additives for fluorine rubber, and the amount of additives added and its role are also because the vulcanization system and the type of fluorine rubber are different. At present, polyol vulcanization system is mainly used at home and abroad, so some processing additives for fluorine rubber are introduced for this vulcanization system. Plasticizer, domestic usually use stearate or low molecular weight fluorine rubber, the former dosage does not exceed 2%, the latter depends on the requirements, the highest does not exceed 5%, otherwise it will affect the performance of the rubber. Antiscorching agent, when the dosage of rubber, high degree of automation of extrusion and injection moulding process prone to scorch, so you need to add a certain amount of antiscorching agent, usually choose to nitrophenol,, adjacent hydroxyl benzoic acid and p-nitrobenzoic acid NA antiscorching agent, dosage of about 0.4-0.5, add the appropriate amount of antiscorching agent can not prevent the charred, The flow and physical properties of the compound can be further improved.
Activator, not only can promote the vulcanization reaction, but also can play the role of acid absorption, commonly used activator magnesium oxide, lead oxide, calcium hydroxide, zinc oxide. Usually high active magnesium oxide to improve heat resistance; Calcium hydroxide improves compression resistance to permanent deformation; Zinc oxide can improve water resistance; Lead oxide can improve acid resistance. The dosage of calcium hydroxide is generally 3-6, 6 in the polyol vulcanization system; The dosage of high activity magnesium oxide is 3 parts, low activity magnesium oxide can be used up to 15 parts. When the dosage of activator is too high, the adhesive is easy to produce foaming.
Promoters, the use of polyol curing system requires promoters not only to have a good coking performance in the mixing and processing stages, but also to have a fast curing rate. At present, the best promoters are quaternary phosphorus salts, such as 1-phthalimide acid-4-butyltriphenyl phosphorus bromide, bis (benzyl triphenyl phosphine) imine chloride, triphenyl benzyl phosphorus chloride, etc. The dosage is generally 0.4-0.7. Of course, compound promoters can also be used, and quaternary ammonium salts can be added in addition to quaternary phosphorus salts. Such as four butyl benzothiazolyl ammonium sulfide, double cinnamon propyl diamine.
Other additives, in order to increase the adhesive strength, hardness, lower elongation, improve the wear-resisting, heat resistance, tear resistance, common use MT carbon black particles in (thermal cracking furnace black) as a reinforcing agent, the general dosage for 20, of course, also can add calcium fluoride, calcium carbonate, high dispersion, such as barium sulfate mixture as a reinforcing agent. Low molecular weight polyethylene was used as release agent.
At present, there are three types of fluoro-rubber vulcanization systems developed in the world: 1) diamine compounds containing 2 amino groups in the molecule; 2) Contains 2 hydroxyl polyol compounds; 3) Peroxides and multifunctional compounds. Among them, polyol vulcanization system is the most widely used, and the polyol used is only limited to bisphenol AF. Compared with the traditional diamine vulcanization system, the polyol system has two major advantages: small permanent compression deformation and high anti-coking safety.
