Product Information
The low temperature resistant rubber gasket can withstand a low temperature of - 40 degrees. It is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) and perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether (PAVE). This gasket is added with the polymer monomer PAVE in the polymer chain, and its dosage is usually between 20% and 40% mole ratio depending on the structure of the polymer monomer. It has high temperature resistance, oil resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, aging resistance and other properties, and can be used for a variety of products, such as rubber gasket framework oil seal, extruded rubber gasket products, rubber gasket and O-ring.

Low temperature test
Low temperature test of low temperature resistant silica gel refers to the study of elastic behavior in the temperature range from room temperature to elastomer failure. Four different tests can be performed to determine the low temperature properties of silicone rubber.
1 impact embrittlement temperature (ASTM D2137)- determination when the sample is subjected to a violent collision, will occur when the embrittlement fracture temperature. The embrittlement temperature is the temperature at which 50% of the sample can be broken
2. Bending Young's Modulus (ASTM D797) - Determination of the degree of bending of a rubber sample supported by a simple beam subjected to a certain weight when the temperature is gradually reduced. When the Young's modulus reaches 69 MPa, it is called the "Young's modulus hardening temperature" of rubber.
3.Gehman Hardness and Bending (ASTM D1053)- Tests the amount of distortion of a specimen subjected to a sustained torque at different temperatures.
4. Springback temperature (ASTM D1329) - The temperature at which frozen specimens are tested to be flexible to contraction.
